Overview

Quizer is a computer tool for authoring and administering multi-media quizzes or content fit for interactive instruction and learning. Target users include teachers, students and general Mac users. Main features include (ordered alphabetically): accurate timing, audible & visual feedback, automatic scoring, built-in catalog service, support for zero configuration networking (Bonjour technology), extensive support of drag & drop for editing as well as viewing tasks, error checking, hirarchical content organization, html support, integration with .Mac, kiosk mode, multimedia support (sound, images, movies, html), templates for reuse, test as you build, undo & redo, unlimited layout freedom.

What's new in Quizer

Version 2.4:
  • Quizer is now released as a universal binary, runnable on both PPC and Intel Mac machines. Note Quizer 2.4 only works on Mac computers running Mac OSX 10.4 or higher.
  • Streamlined the user interface of the Document Editor.
  • Improved the user interface of Preferences panels.
  • Disabled the feature to work directly with iDisk due to some technical issues beyond our control.
  • mLearningTools is working on a total redesign of Quizer. Existing licensed users will have access to the new design free of charge when it is released.

Most helpful

Moodle is FREE! It is open source and much, much more developed than this. Moodle also has a fantastic support base. Google Moodle before you bother with this and see what you think.

I'm genually very impressed. It looks like a lot of hard work and energy has gone into creating this app and the result is a very swishy feature packed program.
