i tried tunebounce awhile ago, and while i currently have 679 songs in my itunes library, i had to force quit tunebounce after 25 mins of it uploading (couldnt tell if it was actually working or frozen) a progress bar showing how much time left/songs left to upload would be nice. also why log into a website to see my recommendations? cant that somehow be implemented into the app? kinda defeats the purpose of using the app if i have to visit the homepage to see it all.

You are looking for the iScrobbler iTunes plugin. In conjunction with an account at last.fm (formerly audioscrobbler), it will do just what you described. I've been using it for about a month and have come across some really good unknowns to add to my music collection.

in theory this could be really cool, it could build a database of user playlists and cross-reference them to find music you have in common and highlight what you don't... however it looks like it is just using amazon to give you similar items and whatnot. what i thought might be a cool recommendation system looks like it might more of a thinly veiled revenue system for the designer (referrals).
