I have to say that it appears the bastards at Scenario Software have succeeded in totally squashing ALL of my possible productivity. First they bring out iPoker, and that now has a few thousand hands logged into it and i think my last count on money there was around 25 million. So you can see how well that hurt my free time not to mention time I should of spent working. Now these Evil programmers have released a widget that is just as addicting, sure it may be a bit big for a widget, but i've already gone through about 4 tournaments in the last hour, three of which I placed second, it is very well made and extremely fun to use. I must warn everyone, DO NOT download this unless you plan on giving up many hours/days in playing. If this does not bother you then I encourage anyone who is a fan of Hold Em Poker to throw this in their dashboard immediately. Scenario ROCKS!

I've paid for this program, twice. Once for the original, then for an upgrade beyond my original version. I was surprised that the upgrade to 2.9.1 didn't automatically pick up my previous registration, but it didn't, and since I've lost track of it I'm relegated to a stripped down, rather buggy version now (explanation below) Guess I'm out of luck there, until I pony up yet again. As for the bugginess... 1) trying to enlarge the program results in only half a window, until I actually start a game, then resize. 2) I get photos of players in the small version, but not in the enlarged window. Maybe it's reading a stray electron carrying my registration!

Umm, WALLYDOG, simpy click the zoom icon in the top-left corner to make the widget double in size. Previous release notes stated that Scenario Poker is zoomable but I guess you missed that. The common usage scenario is to zoom Scenario Poker larger when you're playing it, then zoom it smaller when you're not. That way you don't have to close it.

Scenario poker is barely acceptable. The screen is too small to see easily, it's difficult to tell who's betting and response to button clicks is sluggish at best. Besides that, other players never bluff (it's easy to tell when someone's gotten a pair) and don't seem to respond to bluffs. If you've really got to play and you've got nothing else, give it a try.

For what it is I think the program is great. What I think would bring it Forward is 1. Be able to replace computer players with real players on a local network. 2. Some how a way for the Networked "HOST" to save the game for future continuation so when say lunch is over it could be saved for the next day. This would make It an awsome program the gameplay is great. Just need a way to get more HUMAN thought into the game and get the real BLUFF factor in it. Thanks for letting me get my two cents in. Jim

After playing many rounds, I find it a bit teadeous to keep loosing to players, that in the "real world" would more than likely have folded long before the river card, but it is that card that puts them ahead. Until that point, this fictitious player had nada, but stayed in to draw to an inside straight, etc. Happens time and again in this "scenario." Bluffing aside (because the only real player in the game can't do it) it's not a realistic scenario.

I'm completely addicted to Scenario Poker! Thanks so much for improving the size, since the previous version was a little hard to see if you had the screen at a high resolution. I can't believe you give this game for free - it's my favorite widget!!

I'd really like to see this in a full application style. In fact I'd pay for it, within reason ($15 or so). As a widget, it's necessarily large, and the action is quite fast for someone trying to learn the game. As a full application, you could have preferences to slow the game, or more user controls. Thanks for putting this out free.

I'm going to reply to my own review.
