Chinese character encoder for Mozilla browsers.

Overview

I Speak Cantonese... Many Chinese Web Pages are encoded in Big5-HKSCS or GB18030 but misdeclared as Big5 or GB2312 respectively. This is a patch for Mozilla series applications, including Mozilla, Firefox, Camino, Thunderbird and Sunbird. It forces them to decode Web pages as Big5-HKSCS or GB18030 encoded when they are identified or declared as Big5 or GB2312 encoded respectively. It has no side effects since Big5-HKSCS and GB18030 are supersets of Big5 and GB2312 respectively. Web pages encoded in other schemes are unaffected. [It was named \"Force Big5-HKSCS for Big5 in Mozilla\"]

What's new in I Speak Cantonese

Is there a similar thingy for GB18030 for the almost universally misdeclared GB-2312 encoding? Although it is a harmless tweak, it does interfere with web standards.
