Tis is a great little app now that it runs on Powermac Dual G5s. I use it to update a MySQL database of my songs so other people on my home intranet can browse a PHP page I made. They can download mp3s (and zips of multiple mp3s) and search for an request songs.

What exactly can you do by backing up the iTunes library to a mySQL database? It sounds interesting but I'm wondering what you could practically do with it.

It does work after you create the database and table for it but other than that there is nothing you can do with it after its in the mysql..
needs to be a premade script that will call all your songs into a php file so the database may be of some use...

While a really good idea, but also here it doesn't work. I think it's because I'm using a socket for local connections and there is no option to enable that. Please add this in a next version.

Doesn't work... get "An exception of class NilObjectException was not handled" in 10.4.2, good idea though.
