So. Yet another vital, compelling widget. This is the one that's going to make me reactivate the dashboard. This is the one that's going to make the upgrade to Tiger ESSENTIAL, for everyone, everywhere. Now more than ever. Because if there's one thing people need to know, it's the closest location of Krispy Kreme doughnuts. Everyone needs to know this. Everyone must have immediate access to these over-hyped, mediocre sugar bombs. Remember folks, if you don't eat at least two boxes of Krispy Kreme doughnuts every day the terrorists win.

I've got to second the worst President ever's comments. If you can plausibly make a snarky comment about something, and everyone, literally everyone, doesn't NEED that thing, it shouldn't exuist. I wish I lived in that man's world. Nothing better than bitter and small; unlike Kripy Kreme, which is neither bitter nor small.

hey people, i happen to know that a youngster wrote this and that fact impresses me. it's a learning project. but the most important thing here is that every widget you don't like isn't a personal insult. if you don't like it move on, if it doesn't work, say so, if you don't love the concept explain why and how it can be improved. if you just hate krispy kreme don't bother belly aching about it here, because it sure as shoot at gonna change the world through manifestos cloaked as macupdate reviews. feeble complaints about corporations has nothing to do with this widget.

Right on. As far as the person that asked for the war counter... Would you not rather see people writing stuff like this than fighting wars? Heck, I think everyone would. It does not matter what viewpoint you have, a little widget about something completely fun is not such a bad thing, is it really?

I have a bigger problem with people bitching about people bitching about this widget, than with the actual widget itself. It's says "Reviews/Comments", "Krispy Kreme/This widget sucks" is a comment. If you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen. Krispy Kreme does blow. Meches Donut King owns all. You yankees wouldn't understand.

yeah, "this widget sucks" isn't a very useful comment though. and complaining about the fact that i'd like to see decent reviews is really missing the point.

You realize, of course, that you're bitching about people bitching about people BITCHING about widgets, which makes you three times a hypocrite. It's a section for REVIEWS, which implies thought, rather than "this widget sucks." That's not a review, it's just laziness. -jack

Write it yourself. Criticizing someone's work based upon something completely irrelevant to it just shows complete immaturity.

Way to make the rest of us Liberals look like angry, self-serving morons! That's EXACTLY how we're going to win votes! And typing the word "dumbfurking" obviously makes you SO much more literate/couth than Bush. Just stop. You're hurting the cause. Eat a Krispy Kreme Doughnut. You'll feel better afterwards. -jack

what we think of it IS a review. such a widget would be called "cute" at best by professional reviewers, and would most likely trash talked even more than we've done here.

as much as I would like to blame the guys who made this, shouldn't we blame macupdate for not having better standards? this can't even be called a program, even for a widget.

If you think it's useful... use it. If you don't... go away and be quiet. I believe the purpose of this area is for "reviews", not your personal opinion of how dumb something is. In the imortal words of someone I don't know, "One man's trash is another man's treasure."

quote: "I believe the purpose of this area is for "reviews", not your personal opinion of how dumb something is." well - and let me please call you "mark einstein" - so you do believe that the purpose of this area is for reviews and not your personal opinion of how dumb something is? hmm... i guess that's why you actually didnt "review" the widget itself but solely "unreviewed" someone else's "unreview" - a tap on your shoulder and a handshake too: congrats, mr anderson! an "unreviewer"

Pretty stupid idea. I wish people would put their talents to creating useful widgets, versus unuseful ones. What is the point of this? Are the locations self-contained, or does it require a net connection? I imagine the latter. And if it is the latter, I could just use http://www.krispykreme.com/storelocator.html, and not waste space on my hd, and not use 16MB of memory. Not very well thought it, IMO.

Jeez, I never realized how stupid I am. I am so glad you raised my awareness. Now I know that I should avoid any and all frivolity and fun. Pardon me whilst I find my jackboots so I can practice my goose-step.
