FOR MACUPDATE ADMIN:
The developers of AJW have left the building, leaving only dead links behind them.

Terrific. I have an iBook I bought quite a while back and this browser is perfect for it. I look forward for future versions with more features.

I rated it four for features because it's such a new release.

Actually, it's a 1.0 release, not an alpha, not a beta, but a final 1.0 release.

‘AJW Browser consumes more than 3 times less resources than that of Safari, while maintaining the necessary features.'

More than! Less than! Don't you mean ‘AJW Browser consumes less than a third of the resources that Safari uses'?

Do you really count basic provisions like bookmarks, history, javascript preferences and a progress bar as being unnecessary? Come off it.

And shouldn't version 1.0 of any release at least have its buttons aligned properly? What a waste of 106KB.

Crashes immediately and always for me (OSX 10.2.8 on a G5 machine). Looks like you need to do your homework more thoroughly.

Why? Why make this browser? First off, it looks very much like the developer simply followed a "how to build a basic browser" walkthrough I once saw somewhere. Seriously, that is what this is, right?

When you click on the "About AJW Browser" link you will see the generic "About" box that gets applied to any project you make in Project Builder/XCode. Note the "© __MyCompanyName__, 2005" and generic application icon bits. Looks like someone built this by following a bare bones walk through on how to use WebKit.

The thing is not "...relatively feature rich..." as claimed. It has barely the absolute minimum of features. Basic modern browser capabilities like not having to type http:// in front of your urls are not implemented.

Ugh.
