While the new UI looks great, this probably has to be the first widget with -dropped- features that has gone to x.5.

* The 'External IP" feature didn't work for me, but still does with the older NetStat widget.

* Where did the "Open TCP Connections" feature go?? This was -extremely- useful!!

*In fact, please add Open UDP, unless you cannot use this feature.

5s and 4s across the board except for 'Features'. Developer, please document feature drops.

Great widget... but why does it want to connect to maverick.nswebhost.com, and is there any way to make it stop?

I believe it's a simple call to a network service to figure out your external IP address. If you don't let it connect, it will only show you your local IP address (ie. 192.x.x.x or 10.x.x.x).

Just let it connect. Stop being so paranoid. I'm sure this little widget ain't gonna do any harm to you.

Once it connects to that external server, your external IP address is nicely displayed. This is much more useful than your internal IP address.

Very handy and versatile little widget. Only thing I would add is a line-graph of network traffic (in and out).

Great widget!
Just a couple of suggestions:
- Make the font a bit larger (as mentioned here before)
- Make _all_ addresses copyable (for example by copying it when the user clicks the text (the camera icon had me wondering for a while...)

As requested a new version will be released very soon with a bigger font.
Adresses will be copyable when you click on them including IPv6.
IPv6 Support will be improved and the default 127.0.0.1 IPv6 will be removed

I love this widget, too! Keep up the good work!

I do have a small suggestion, though. I think most would agree that the type is a little difficult to read because it is a bit too small. I think enlarging the type to at least 10-point would be much better on the eyes. Better yet, maybe offering a preference to set the point size would do the trick.

Anyway, this widget gets five stars. Thanks for helping us declutter our menu bars!

Thanks for the feedback!

We'll probably fix the font size in the next update.

Nice little widget. Very basic - provides your internal and external IP addresss and data in & out. I used to have a menu bar item that did this before. It's nice to be able declutter my menu bar a little bit!
