Website creation & content management software.

Overview

Note: TuneBar is no longer under development and the developer provides no support for it.

Next generation website & content management software that allows you to define your page layout once, and start adding pages without ever again having to worry about how the page looks. Among a host of practical functionality, like secure uploading of files, built-in file management & backup/restore, there is also 'MetroScript', a full blown scripting system with php-like syntax. Metropolis was modeled after Citydesk, but is 200 times faster in building your site. Metropolis comes standard in 13 languages

First of all, if you are going to charge so much money for your product, you should at least provide a screen shot or two on your web page - not to mention full documentation, a FAQ, and other essential information. Secondly, don't waste your time with this. There are tons of free open-source software packages like WordPress which take 5 min to install on your server and allow you to upload content via software like ecto which is Mac OS X native. WordPress 1.5 now allows you to create static web pages, and there are dozens of plug-ins and themes to add functionality, not to mention a huge support network that you can rely upon. Third, I think you are better off using real PHP rather than some proprietary PHP-like scripting language.

I don't get this. You're posting a link to a totally different product with a different (though somewhat resembling) name...

Money: It is just over half the price of theproduct it was modeled after, but 200 times faster. I'd say that the price is more than reasonable. Documentation: If you would have actually installed the product you would have found out there is extensive documentation included. As per v1.1 even in two languages. Php: You're comparing apples with oranges. Metropolis is not some server side software as there are many already. Advice: Install it first before you comment.
