Here's a wild idea: rather than forcing users to determine the pathname which refers to a given folder, why not use a standard dialog box to choose the folder?
Heavy, concept, huh?
Tip: when changing the Folder Path, make sure you hit the Tab key on your keyboard to move to the next text field (or manually move your cursor out of the field you're editing and into another field). This should ensure that your changes are recognized.
Alternatively, you can hit the Return key (this will also dismiss the Options window and save your changes).
From what I can tell, the problem (with changes not being recognized) seems to occur only when you leave your cursor in the same text field you're editing and immediately click the "Done" button.
The cube was blank, even though I have pictures in my pictures folder, so I changed the path to ~/Pictures/My Desktop Pictures/. It worked, but now I cannot change that path at all, it seems stuck.
