DictionaryEdit is a program that will let you edit
dictionaries used by the Speech Manager. Such
dictionaries are held in 'dict' resources, and are
present in a number of speech-aware
applications, such as Homer, Strip-Mac,
SoToSpeak, DropTalk, and more.
DictionaryEdit will automatically convert plain
text entered from the keyboard to the phonemic
representation used by the Speech Manager.
The program supports drag and drop, so you
can easily add, remove, and edit dictionary
entries. You can also fine-tune pronunciation
with a handy menu of prosodic controls, and
test your dictionaries while they are being
