Version 1.4.4a2 still works on Tiger or later: "First version, updated May 21st 2012. Carbon Macho application, G4 and SSE accelerated. Requires Mac OS X 10.4 (Intel or PPC) or higher" but also: ..."works on Lion 10.7.4" (http://jeschot.home.xs4all.nl/home.html#JVC)

Apparently there's an early prerelease for Lion available now: http://www.xs4all.nl/%7Ejeschot/VideoCleaner/JVC_v1.4.4a2.zip Needs Lion 10.7.4 according to dev.

Good application! Easy to use and delivers good results with standard parameters. Is there another application for reducing noise in movies?

Pretty good and free. The freeware Deinterlacer is very good too, if you don't have "pro" softwares.

No problems here too. You may try using a proxy. Sadly, some servers/routers are blocking some IP ranges. Internet isn't a free world anymore. =\
