Project manager for Xcode.   Free

AlphaBeta is just a basic tool that I need daily (and nightly as a matter of fact): a project monitor/automator/manager that can take care of my automated build system for me, a wrapper around Xcode, really (except that it can work headless). So, as long as you don't have any weird script phase in your builds, it should be totally non-destructive.
What's New
Version 1.0b3
  • Icon badge showing the build status (requested by Minime)
  • Various minor bug fixes
Requirements
PPC, Mac OS X 10.3 or later

one question: why? how is this any better for automated builds than just plain old xcodebuild?

Just ask your manager how he feels about xcodebuild, or the pleasure to compile every project manually when you have more than a dozen :)
Personnally, I use it nighly to check which projects still work, which are broken (when I have a cross project thing)
It also helps me verify everything before commiting my source code to SCM.
