iPhoto Batch Enhancer

I have every major version of iPhoto, from 1.0 (on a system-specific disk) to the current iPhoto 8 (iLife '09). I wanted to try this out, and noted the technical requirements listed here of 10.4+ and iPhoto 4. With iPhoto 4, iPBE kept giving me an error message instead of enhancing any pictures. It didn't crash outright. I don't think it is my configuration, as I zeroed out the drive and reinstalled Tiger (+ all updates) 36 hours beforehand. So I upgraded iPhoto 4 to iPhoto 5 and tried again. It works just fine with iPhoto 5.

Have the same problem. Buggy!!!

When pressing Apply it crashes. Test on OS X 10.6.1

Very buggy. iPhoto(v7.1.5) crashes a lot with Batch Enhancer v3.0b9 installed. I get a multitude of error messages when trying to use Batch Enhancer's features. Batch Enhancer's icons disappear from iPhoto window after using B.E. for the first time. B.E. apparently still needs lots of work to make it run smoothly and problem free. I'll give it another go when it's out of beta and (hopefully)stable. Intel core 2 duo w/OS 10.5.6.

Just updated from IBE v3.0b6 to v3.0b7. When I try to launch the app I get the following error message: You cannot use the application "iPhoto Batch Enhancer.app" with this version of Mac OS X. I'm running OS X 10.4.11 on a PowerBook G4 with iPhoto 5.04.

It doesn´t work with iPhoto 7.1

Alas, it modifies the originals and saves them immediately and doesn't make a backup/duplicate instead. This makes it a bit to "risky" IMHO. Great idea, but I should have the option of having make a seperate catalog with the reside/changed photos.

When I import my photo's into iPhoto, I always enhance them to see if this would improve the photo. I've found that my photo's look better about 80% of the time. However, it's a tedious process. That was before I discovered this little gem. All you have to do is drag the images you want to enhance (or turn sepia, b&w, etc), onto the application. Sit back and watch as iPhoto enhances and saves the changes to each photo without any further user input. A HUGE TIME & KEYSTROKE SAVER! If you don't like how iPhoto enhanced the picture, simply select the picture the Revert to Origianl menu command.
