Change your password on a Microsoft Windows server.

Overview

PasswordChanger is a simple Cocoa application that allows anyone using MacOS X 10.2 or later to change their password on a Microsoft Windows server. Thus, it even allows you to change your password on a Windows Domain, which is very important for those Mac users who must work around the limitations in Apple's current implementation of Active Directory integration. All you need to know is the hostname of the Windows server you wish to change your password on.

Great idea! I get the following error when I run it (copied from the console): Link (dyld) error: dyld: /Users/me/Desktop/PasswordChanger.app/Contents/MacOS/PasswordChanger can't open library: /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/ZeroLink.framework/Versions/A/ZeroLink (No such file or directory, errno = 2) Is it me? Or am I missing something? Do I need the developer tools installed? Is there a workaround? I want this APP!

I just went to the web-site to snarf the URL to send to a friend and I see the web-site and download link are now offline, you just get a "parking" page.

Hi. I'm sorry about the issue... it's completely my fault, as I left ZeroLinking enabled on the build. Hopefully version 1.2 (which is available now) will fix this issue. Also, I only have access to one test machine and it runs 10.3.7 (12" 1.3 GHz PowerBook G4). If you get an error or it won't open, please e-mail me with the message, the type of machine you are running it on, and the OS version. I've no problem trying to squash bugs. ;) And I'm new to Cocoa (*gasp* I know) so please bear with me.

No problem Jonathan! I mean, your let us use the software for free and it was a very harmless error for me. It didn't even unexpectedly quit! :-) 1.2 seems to work fine. I'll let you know if anything happens. Good luck with your Cocoa programming career! :-)
