The new TapDex, invoked by easiest of all keystrokes F1, is no better, IT is all GREAT. Sorry for shouting, it's in partial answer to comment near top, Wjb3wvu commented on 15 Jun 2010. How can you comment, especially querulously, dear boy, if you have not downloaded a FREE app?
From Launch on Startup TapDex even flashes a screen to remind you of F1. Type in any words you think are in 'A B" entry and you hit Return and tap arrows to go down list to your target.
Glad to read most think TapDex is invaluable every day. As long as the person and phone are in Address Book, TapDex finds preliminary info such as Tel and Email.
Click another window and TapDex is gone.
But of course you will have to wait on Address Book if you want spouse's name and birthdate.
On the phone or the wife asks [waltzes-in] for a someone's number I use TapDex and give the info as if by a magician. Please get TapDex. No Mac should be without Yellow Mug’s TapDex. & free. I don't know what the paid Pro version does or if I already paid $4.95 for Pro, the free version just works anyway like magic.
NB TapDex is a superlative use of 'tight' code by Jay Teo, the real wizard.
