Well I still prefer SnowSaver (which is here on MU also). It is an older one from 2002 but it is very light on CPU use and is very smooth on my G4-466.
Not optimized is right… It takes all of my G4 processing power, which is rediculous. Fix that, and we'll talk… Multiple monitor support would also be appreciated for this type of eye candy.
A bit CPU intensive for a little holiday app like this, but the active transparency on the snowflakes is nice. Now if only there was some real snow outside =(
