One thing I would ask, okay, two:
1) Could you please provde a preference to allow for the user to have dollar/cents value-change rather than percentage only?
AAPLStockDock gives the monetary change, fwiw, but I like that iAAPL allows for smaller window viewing - very cool.
2) Would it be possible to allow the user to hide the dock icon?
Otherwise, it's a sweet little app.

However, I would love if the following two suggestions can be made to the software:-
a) Include quotes for indices (i.e, ^SPX)
b) Have an auto-update feature, (i.e, check every 5min,10min,etc)

And the stock quote is in dollars, as you can see in the tool tip.
Please investigate more before rating,..
