I've been using this since the beta and it's a nice application for CRM. Much easier to use than Daylite (I think), and feels like I'm being productive. Great customization and automation features. I can really see this as a good tool for me to keep communication with my clients and partners well organized and proactive. I did find the stabilty to be an issue. I had several recurring problems that have caused me to wait for a later release before purchasing. Regular use seemed to be fine, stability became an issue when I began to change several of the user lists and so on. To their credit, Redlien is very responsive and addressed several issues I had in the 1.01 release. I think this product has the potential to be a category leader. Good work.

I downloaded the demo and was pleasantly surprised at the functionality of the product. Upon purchasing Redlien Account Executive and deciding to import my Address Book, everything seemed to go quite smoothly. It wasn't until I started adding new names to my Address Book that the problems started. If you add additional names inside of Address Book and then try and import them into Redlien...the program imports every single address again. Furthermore, I discovered that if could not import iCal information into Redlien. This meant that I manually had to input all calendar stuff into Redlien. Any new calendar events I made inside of Redlien would automatically sync with iCal...but I was shocked!!!...when i discovered that after syncing my palm pilot to load the information from iCal...that all of the calendar information DISAPPEARED!...gone...it didn't show up on my palm, and it was cleared from iCal. This is supposed to be a program that makes life easier, and instead, it has given me numerous headaches. Any new 'contact' information, when entered is supposed to be added to Address Book, however, Redlien can't seem to export this information in the correct order into Address Book, meaning, when i go to Address Book and look up a person's name...the first and last name are mixed up, or the last name is not there at all...example.. Rob and Amber Smith would look like 'Smith Rob and' These bugs are not worth it. I use my palm pilot when I am booking appointments away from the office. To sync them to iCal, only to have them erased by Redlien is a joke. Many emails and attempts to report bugs have gone without any response from the company. I still think this is a really great program, but with MAJOR set-backs for the upwardly mobile small business man, trying to keep all his stuff together. I find myself not trusting this program, and going back into Address Book to make changes I shouldn't have to..and iCal, well, I've pretty much given up on that one. Makes my palm pilot pretty much obsolete. I'd look into Filemaker Pro.
