For not-so-technical people I have posted the INTEL version here:

I have found this web-page which explains how to fix ZIPPIST for Intel systems:

Fantastic program, I use it all the time when sending attachments to PC users. Works like a charm on 10.4 (PPC) but hangs on 10.5 (Intel). Therefore only 4 stars.

Great app! The created zip file doesn't scare PC users with any Mac files on view.

superb app - though i don't think it's as fast as Panther's own zip feature, even though it's obviously more compatible with older versions of osx. Sweet!
But can there be a feature to create numerous zip files from numerous source files/folders?? Rather than one big/combined archive??
Also the progress bar should update depending on it's (err) progress rather than the individual files it's done...

Other than my moans, this is a great piece of s.w !!

Isn't this kind of pointless if you have 10.3?

Does this still work? I don't see an option for password-protecting zip files (OS X 10.6.2, Intel).
