Bonez ScreenSaver is a spooky screensaver. Somewhere deep within a dark forest, where once there was a small village, is a forgotten place. Nothing left now, but a few scattered markers, most of the names have eroded away. Evil deeds took place here, and even the passing of centuries can't erase the pain and suffering that has soaked into the ground like blood. Features include:
  • Spooky graveyard forest scene.
  • Night sounds with distant thunder.
  • Anatomically correct 3D Skeleton that walks, talks, and performs magic tricks.

Thanks for the Snow Leopard update. Halloween just wouldn't be the same with Bonez.

After I installed this, (1.3), the only things that were on screen were the bats. I had to turn on the interactive mode,(paid for), and then there were gaps in the characters until the skeleton walked around them. Then they filled in. The sound was a little jumpy as well. Going back to 1.2.

I haven't yet contacted the author, but I thought I would mention that on my Dual G5, sometimes the screensaver will cause a spinning beachball of death after running for a bit. Thankfully, I can still use the keyboard to restart without causing problems, but of course, I loose anything I had open in the background. I haven't been able to replicate the problem on either of my G4 machines (one of which is also a dual).

Is it just me, or is this the worst timing for a software posting to date?
