Downloaded a previous iURL release some month ago and the current release recently.

In the past, I used several other solutions, which did their job, but I searched a web automation tool.

As a web surfer, I need to find archive files on web pages. In the past, I clicked each link in my browser. Using iURL, I use 'Discover' to find all downloadable app files on a page. Finally, I add them to iURLs link collections.
Futhermore, 'Multiloads' helps to download many files at one.

Finally, iDisk support is nice: At home I push my bookmark collections to my iDisk. At work, I download them, add stuff and push them back.

The overall GUI is good. Some (minor) improvements are required: the iDisc tools are simple, but the GUI isn't fully perfect. Well, it does its job, but it took some time to understand this part of the application. Moreover, turingart, please use other icons for your buttons.

Besides this, the app is great. and the developer support is excellent. A small bug got fixed within 2 days.

This app fills a gap for me. I couldn't find any other apps with easy multiple downloading, but iURL makes downloading hundreds of files with similar names (001.gif ... 099.gif) very easy. Support is also great, all problems I reported to the author were fixed within days.

How is the general interest regarding 'http://del.icio.us/'?

Please write some comments regarding this!

A next release might have enhanced RSS support.

Moreover, we are currently testing peer-2-peer networking. Using this, you could publish your URLs directly to anybody else. No webserver required.

Interest about this? Would you like to have this?

Hi,

I'm happy to support 'del.icio.us' - but please give me some hints regarding this system? What would you really like to be added?

Read links from 'del.icio.us'?

Kind regards,

Stefan

Try to use this approach:

Add the http://del.icio.us/ to iURL. Then click on the asterisk icon or call DISCOVER.

iURL will scan the page for embedded URLs. From there, it's easy to add the crawled URLs to your current collection.

Isn't this the suolution, you are searching?

iURL? Do you really think its a good idea to change the app name?

Anyway, the app is quite good. As graphics artist, I really need the Discover functionality.

Very simple usage, good! Hope to see more.

I'd like to have that on my father's PC as well - and send him a bunch of URLs. He's a bit stupid or his PC is kind of complicated ;-)

Any chance to see that some day?

Multiload and Discovery are very useful tools. As web developer, I often need to check links on other pages.

Cool. Optimize your Icons!

very cool app! nice interface, works great. The OS X toolbar could be improved as it is fake.

also, why is this shareware? I wouldn't pay for an app that does so little, this is worth being freeware.

good app , i hope its improved in v1.1.

Downloaded it, tried to launch it three times. All three times it crashed, so I trashed it. Screw it.
