Sonicfire Pro

As a musician and composer/arranger i find SonicFire Pro for Mac allows me to compose music with ease and transition smoothly with Apple's Final Cut Pro. SonciFire Pro is much more than slicing, dicing, mixing royalty free music. Albeit, you can create compositions with very little music knowledge simply by slicing and dicing exceptional quality music tracks purchased from SmartSound.

I have been using SmartSounds software ever since my OS 7,8 and 9 days.


Just as 3ddvproducer noted the cost of the albums are extremely expensive especially for my budget and needs since i do not make a living at composing which is why i have subtracted one star from my rating. I always wait for their sales which are still pricey. However i doubt that they will every change their pricing model to really accommodate the very casual for fun user of their software engine ( SonicFire Pro. )

Rarely do you encounter a product that actually exceeds your expectations. As a producer an editor of film and video projects of various lengths my need for flexible quality musical scoring that is affordable is a constant and ever growing requirement for customer satisfaction. Sonicfire Pro is the first product that DELIVERS a stable quality solution that is so user friendly an elegant is does not make you think twice about opening it in an online session. The music is of excellent quality, (Check the pedigree of the composers with a google search) and the program allows you to slice, dice, remix, and retime it so it fits exactly, repeat exactly into the time slot you require down to the frame! I am not a composer or a musical arranger but with this product and the online access to their library for preview a lot of my clients think I am! Custom musical cues that fit the mood with diverse genres. I cut on both Final Cut Pro and Media 100 on our Mac systems and getting the music to either program is smooth and pain free. I do not work for or have any connection to Sonicfire Pro, this program just flat out kicks butt! If you need great sounding flexible scoring pieces and you are not a musician this is a complete no brainer, try the free demo you'll like it also! One gripe I wish the albums you previewed online were a little cheaper to purchase, that way I'd stock up! That is the only reason I give it a FOUR rating instead of FIVE.
