I think this is pretty cool. Sure, the resulting "image" table is larger than a JPG or GIF, but this is a method to prevent people from stealing original imagery. Plus, it's kinda nifty to do mosaic effects with larger table cells.
With a little imagination, there are many many uses for this application. Thanks to the developer.

um... to protect your images? have you not ever seen the print screen function?
I say that no one writes an application that have no use. So my question is "Dear develloper, why have you done this application, what is your use for it ?".
Thanks

Dear Francky,
I made it for having fun with
HTML-table pics and for displaying
them in nice static and animated ways.
My hope is that the idea will evolve
further. I received some nice suggestions, so we will see.
Rediculous program - there is no use for this
i took an image 900 x 600 pixels in size
converted it as the program says it does
the resulting html document was 22 Mb !
the program definitely works and does what it says
but come on! the original JPG was only 465Kb
why would you want to convert it to html like this?
just embed the image in a html document and be done!
Recently I had a terrifying nightmare. In it I was all alone in a dark place. My heart was racing and I could feel evil all around me. Then I saw the most horrifying image I have ever seen. An image so appalling it defies human comprehension. Apparently the developer of this application is telepathic because he read my mind & used that image for his icon. ;-)
Bright idea, but thoroughly stupid execution. The file sizes are ridiculous, and hardly worth waiting around while your computer crunches through it all. A novelty app at best. I chucked my copy already.
The developer needs to use something other than tables to acheive this pic-to-html effect... Consider CSS and other modern html tricks. Tables? You've got to be kidding me.
