Change key combination.

Overview

In MacOS 9 (and previous 'classic' versions of MacOS) the key combination to create a new folder was 'Command N', however Apple changed this key combination to 'Command Shift N' and assigned 'Command N' to the action of creating a new finder window.

I and others have never quite become used to this change, which is why I created 'N Commander'. It is a simple application which changes the key combination 'Command N' in Apple's Finder so that it will create new folders. This Change remains permanent unless reversed using N Commander.

Well, after so much time using OS X, I've got used to the new key sequences... maybe if it came out in the old 10.0 days, I would have loved it.

Strange that the PLATFORM info hasn't been updated. Should be marked UNIVERSAL. This little app lets you do it in one step what would take 6-8 steps using Teminal & Keyboard Shortcuts pref pane. It's the first app I downloaded on my new MacBook Pro.

Thanks for the simple command "N" for a new folder correction. I know there is a way to do this in Terminal, but this is super easy. I've been a Mac user since 1983, and have been using X for about a year. Love the change of keys. Ten year habits die hard.

Great idea but it would be nice to see a 10.2 version.
