AWESOME! I like keep my phone in my backpack so I don't misplace it, but had to turn up the ringer really loud so not to miss any calls. Now with BluePhoneMenu, I can keep the ringer off, and still be alerted when I have an incoming call. One of those, "I don't know how I got along without it" programs. Keep up the great work.

This is probably the most convenient program I've ever come across on the Mac. From now on, all I need is a bluetooth phone, and a size fit for my pocket. All I need is to use the menu to read and send SMS, which alone is an ingenious ability. Never fancied typing on a phone. The ability to make a call from the program and afterwards lift the phone to your ear, or using a headset, is also great. What I do miss, however, is a Service that allows me to highlight a phone number and make a call.

I too love the icon BUT I don't think it works well in the Menu Bar, it should fit in with other menu bar items for instant recognition good visibility and style consistancy.

Getting better all of the time, and I love the icon (don't change it!). Still exits after sleep sometimes, but hey, for the price, it's a bargain.

Erm, I'd love to use this app but it makes my iBook lock up and require a restart when I come back from an extended absence (of maybe half an hour). I have a T39m and am running the latest version of Panther. Any ideas?

To the developer: A fantastic app, works wonderfully thanks! Two things would make it even better: - a "send sms to..." menu item that brings up the address book so we don't have to type the name. - an improved menu bar icon. The lopsided and off-centre telephone looks out of place next to the much fuller and front-on Apple icons. Perhaps a designer out there would like to mock up a great icon for this great app?

There's a new version every 5 minutes! Can any testing not be done before each and every release? ONe thing is to have a quick turn around on bugs, but another is to throw things online every 5 minutes. Awesome software... but let's give the QA cycle time to find the bugs before each and every version is released.

This is what the mac community is all about-the developer cares about the product, responds to emails/suggestions, and best of all, it's FREE! He even sent me a pre-release version to try out on my V600, because I had written to him about the lack of SMS support-well, it worked, and I know that this was in part because I was able to send him the log file he asked for in the readme.txt. This is GREAT software, and well worth the d/l-I am confident that ANY issues you bring to the developer's attention will be promptly dealt with. A+! Chris if this included syncing, it would be all I need!

Great app! Works fine with my T630 and iMac. Usefull. The only thing that would make this app absolutely perfect is to add hands-free functionality, i.e. being able to use the mike and speakers of the Mac to make calls. Would be very willing to pay a reasonable fee for this app if this would be added. But nevertheless: thank you developpers!!

Excellent App! Makes using a BT phone easy. Finally! Some features request: I'd love to be able to save all SMS to a file before erasing them. I miss the "request feedback" option for sms (notification when the sms you sent is received). To have the picture of the caller or person you phone to (from Address Book) would be nice. Thanks for this great app.

Blue Phone Menu Rocks! Does exactly as described. Works flawlessly with my P900. If software as good as BPM can be written and distibuted for free other writers should feel shame for producing rubbish then charging $5 shareware fee!!

This is a lovely application, nice to use and does nearly everything i could need, far more flexible with SMS than the limited options on apple's address book. Just one small suggestion, would it possible for the developer to add 'Speak caller ID' as an option aswell as the ring. This way i wouldn't even need to look at the screen to know who was calling me. Other than that excellent work, thanks! :o)

Works great for incoming calls on my T616. BUT - I am unable to make outgoing calls. My T616 is properly paired. BluePhoneMenu does appear to be able to reply, but no initiation of calls. Agree with other poster about making this work with Salling Clicker. At present, have to give up Clicker to use BluePhoneMenu. Alternatively, add a feature to allow iChat availability recognition.

MUCH better icon!!! Thanks! I'd really love to see 2 things added to the menu. 'Ignore / Send to Voice Mail' (to cancel an incoming call) [I like the menu bar better than the dialog window] 'Dial Voice Mail' (voice mail number set in preferences) Great update.

This is great! The auto-connect is what does it for me, plus the ability to send sms directly from the menu bar. The b/w icon in the menubar looks good, and so far everything works like a charm! (Even with my SE T630!) Thanks!

Can you please update the app to include an option to use a standard OS X black & white high contrast menu bar icon? I know its picky but that alone is reason enough for me not to run the app. I hate seeing color inmy menu bar. Very distracting to me.

After teething problems with my P800 i had a few chats with the developer, who responds really quickly to any queries. Anyhow all seems fine now and its a great little app to use, especially when you have your phone on silent during a meeting, at least you can see if its someone you need to talk to. I particularly like the reconnection feature that the app has, addressbook doesnt do this for you, no more needing to reconnect when you return to your desk. This app can only get better, with say an option to select the alert sound.Great work and great price :)

Updating from 1.1.1 crashes 1.1.2 all the time until I trashed bluephone.plist Now it works ok. Would like to be able to answer SMS through this app. Bug: The blue rollover gets kind of weird when you move around in the menubar on Bluephone.

I would love love love to have the optioin to make this be either a menu item or a floater window. I like to constantly see what my signal and battery power are and clicking on the menu bar every few minutes is getting a little annoying. Still love the program a lot thought. It would sorta be like a second airport signal thing/widget.

Please.. make this work with Salling Clicker... Anything that doesnt, is almost useless... im not giving up the tons and tons of uses my phone has with Salling Clicker, just to use this little menu extra... make it a script pack or something for Salling... or just mak it work with it. -9mm

This is very cool, worked great on my T68i. Address Book's Caller ID is broken right now so this has been very handy for me. Suggestions for future versions: would like to be able to change the icon's position in the toolbar by Apple-dragging (like the other menulings).. as it is, its stuck on the far-left; possibly show the Address Book pic associated with that person who's calling in the notification?; maybe an option for a bezel-style display, like the Brightness/Volume controls? Thanks for the great work...

Hmm...it doesn't seem to work for either of my phones. It totally doesn't connect to my Motorola A925, and it connects, but shows no signal and doesn't register calls on the Nokia 7650 and Ngage, both of which work on similar platforms i think.

works now w NOkia 6310 and PB17 10.3.3 airport/bluetooth but ... it deselects my nokia after a few minutes, effectively disabling the functionality! also, when there is a call, and I have re-selected my phone in the menu bar, 2 windows will show up, not just 1 still a great idea of a great guy ! surely in a short while this will be so good apple will want to buy it
