It works as advertised. Wish it was a bit slower though, just a bit. But pretty cool anyway.

someone once sent me and email that said: "Are you joking????Your ilustrations for the poofs are simple ugly!!!!The resexcellence have so many good poofs and your only have this pieces of shit, Ha ha ha" My message to that person: Than don't use them. I have no problem with that. It's just a matter of personal liking. Can you make your own? I'm making a new page for people who make their own Poofs. Just make a new 126x640 page in photoshop (if you have it) and divide it into 5 frames, and save it as .png. I think if you can spend your time saying how bad it is, you can spend your time making a better one. And by the way, “resexcellence” is not a word.

i believe that bomb was one of the "do it yourself" things in either MacAddict or Mac World a couple months ago...

Sorry, but these "poofs" compared to the original one are very ugly. If one day the developer makes it a paying app, I hope he will do a huge graphic work, because for now, looks like childish design. My 2c: stick with the original ... its way better.

This is cool. It is very safe and stable, but hopefully the author could come up with more poofs....

I have written a program (a Tcl script) that you can run from the Terminal to safely install these poofs and restore the original. I tried sending a copy to the author but his .mac message box didn't work. Maybe I'll GUI it up some and post it here, anyone interested?

It is apparent to me that OS X is more tweakable in more aspects that was old Mac OS. Thanks for this small but fun contribution.
