I've been searching for this plug-in high and low and I've finally found it. Works flawlessly with my Tiger 10.4.3. Awesome! THANK YOU.

I'm listening to a .ogg in iTunes as I write this comment. The component seems to work great. I'd been missing my .oggs since I upgraded to Tiger, and now they're back. Thanks a lot!

Works with iTunes 4.7.1, QT7, OS 10.4 just fine.

Note that Quicktime will not properly decode every file ending in an Ogg extension. Reason...??? (E.g., an Ogg from Wikipedia wouldn't play ... Whereas an Ogg created with OggDrop would.)

Wikipedia .ogg files do work with this component - but you have to change the "Open with" setting in the Info window for the .ogg file first. Make sure you deselect "Recommended Applications" in the dialogue window, and select "All Applications", then select QuickTime Player. Then click on "Change All" in the Info settings, and from then on all the Wikipedia .ogg files will automatically open in QT.

Works perfectly (in ~/Library/Quicktime)

I also had to copy the framework files into my /Library/Frameworks/ folder. Seems the author didn't put the Quicktime Component bundle together correctly (it still functions - but shows up as a folder), or some of the symlinking isn't working as it should.

Using the README instructions didn't work until I also put the Ogg and Vorbis frameworks into /Library/Frameworks, as suggested by someone on the Sourceforge thread.
