Solar System Simulator Educational is designed to simulate astronomical phenomena of the solar system. Based on accurate astronomical data, it reproduces the motions of the solar system (the sun, planets, satellites, comets, asteroids, etc.) three-dimensionally on your Mac.

While traveling across time between the past, present, and future, you can move freely to any cosmic location in space or any celestial body in the solar system and experience the various astronomical phenomena that take place in the solar system.

Those who like this may also like Celestia, another similar freeware that covers the entire Universe. With it you can simulate being in a starship, without any weapons, shields, etc. Sorry, no enemies to conquer either. All you can do is get lost in space. Actually not really, a few keystrokes gets you home from whatever planet, star, or galaxy you happen to be exploring at the time.

Quite possibly the coolest freeware I have ever downloaded. If I HAD to change anything I'd make the graphics a bit crisper. Also, I'm having a tough time adjusting the size to fit my 12" screen. But it's a really great program!

GREAT, but the menu toolbar is in japanese or chinese, I can't read that.
