OfflineSSI processes SSI (Server Side Include) tags in HTML files to generate static HTML suitable for upload to a Web host that doesn't actually provide SSI facilities itself. This means you can take advantage of common headers, footers, copyright notices etc. across your Web pages during the development process but deploy completely static pages to the server. Or use OfflineSSI to develop Web pages on your own machine, for final deployment to a server that does support SSI.
