Unlike some other users, I just tested the app and it was able to extract and archive I'd created with multiple files and folders just fine.

For those having trouble with this app., I'd highly recommend downloading the free GUI interface to go with it.

You might have used the -e parameter when you should have used -x. Here's an excerpt from the list of commands:

e Extract files
x Extract files with full path

Works ok for single or multiples files.
Little note about helpful mefkeys's comment
After typing "unace e" drag the compressed file into the terminal window and press enter.

Works well for one file. Always gives error in multi-file archives. So for most things, this program is pretty unusable. Hope new versions are better.

Don't know how they missed that bug... it's pretty obvious if they tested it out.

It worked just fine for archives that are a single file, but it always seg faulted when looking for the second file of a multi file archive.

Works as advertised. Just remember that it's a terminal app and you should use the following syntax to extract files:

unace e

This will extract the files to the root of your user dir.

Didn't work 100%. It crashed with a segfault when it tried to uncompress a file that was corrupt (or at least didn't match the CRC). Instead, it should just report the error and continue on with the other files in the archive.

Running MacUnace 2.5 on Mac OSX 10.3.2
