ShapeShifter themes.

Overview

TwistMas is getting a minor update for 2004. Included is a Safari skin, updated finder buttons and Shapeshifter 2 compatibility. Most other aspects of this theme still seem pretty usable and haven't been touched since last year. Granted this isn't a polished theme but I believe it's a good theme and is vary usable for the holiday season.

I admire everyone who tries to program anything for the Mac, but this theme only lasted 30 seconds on my machine because. . . well. . . it's hideous. Color Clash Crisis! Keep up the good work, but maybe go back and look at the old Kaleidoscope themes archive under Christmas (if the archive is still there) and see what's possible with more complimentary colors and some glossing of buttons/menus rather than flat pastels. . . .

This guiKit causes the File... Save As... to stop functioning when using Default Folder.

As far as I know it's not the guiKits fault. That'd be a shpapeshifter issues. Also, I use Default Folder and have had no issues.

to the developer: yeah you might want to look at old k-schemes by "Daniel Stanczak" (type that into the search on the K site which is still up), he did a nice job of making 'gems' buttons that would be more aqua-like on osx.

Please be specific on which theme you don't like. I don't claim them to be done, but I need to know details or ideas in order to fix/update them. There are two themes in the TwistMas.guiKit so please let me know which one you are commenting on.

The one shown in the partial pic below is, I think, the one that's hard on the eyes. That one needs some glossing and, I'd suggest, shiny red menu selectors against a darker green menu. The pastels are just not happening, visually.........
