I tried this product on the trial version and it worked well on my MacBook. BUT when I tried it out on my home imac it wiped all the contacts from both Address book and Entourage. Really unimpressed. I have had to spend most of the day trying to recover the information and without success. SO BEWARE

ever since 2.6 I get the [immediate error:] NSCannotCreateSCriptCommandError
10. I use Office X on 10.3.9
Worst of all after this error my Entourage
addressbook is empty except myself.
Glad I always keep a backup, but of course
this totally unexceptable . . .

Just go with e@sync. This software is too slow and outdated. It takes me over 12h to updates all my contacts (large number of them, about 2400). e2sync works better for me and much easier to set up since there is nothing to set up.

Are you kidding, after reading the user reviews? Talk about buggy and unstable, as well as expensive. Thanks but no thanks. I will stay with Sync Entourage-Address Book with its excellent and timely support if problems do occur.

I, too, had some trouble with this program at first, but it turned out not to be the program, but some weird corruption of my address book database. I emailed the developer before I paid my $$ and got back a two page personal email with instructions for reconstructing. That's great support. It worked the way he advised and I am back on track. Paid my $$ the next day. Thanks for the help on that one!

I made a mistake when entering the ratings in the previous review, which leads one of the four ratings look as if it would be the worst! This was not intended at all, as clearly shown by my review. Since there seems to be no way to edit a review, please, just disregard the "ease of use" rating, which is an error.

Thanks again to the developer!

I would like to share my very positive experience, after an unexpected start. I decided yesterday to update Entourage all the data from Address Book (I use Mail as my primary mail client, and Entourage primarily for lists, but it is however useful to have the full address list in both). I have 1,070 addresses in Address Book. I first got into serious trouble and ended up with 170 addresses only in Entourage, instead of the original 900 I had there. Of course, Address Book was not affected, but I wrote a somewhat irritated comment about my experience to the developer....

... and then it turned into a wonderful experience. Within two hours, I got a reply (more than one page long) from the developer. He explained to me which mistake I had probably done, and kindly told me I should have read the warnings repeatedly included in the manual. And he was right! I had overlooked the warnings - and I realized it was my mistake.

I replied with a few additional comments and questions, and within one hour I had another long message with additional, precise information.

And finally. happy end: having learnt the lesson and carefully followed the instructions, I did a new run of the script, overwriting the previous data - and all my 1,070 addresses have been imported into Entourage, without any problem.

True, it takes time - it took me more than two hours to have the import done: but it does a difficult job, and it does it perfetcly - provided the user (myself) reads carefully the detailed instructions (45 pages) provided with Sync.

Many thanks to the developer for that tool and for his amazing, kind, efficient support! It is nice to have such experiences!

Call me an idiot...I read the "user beware" comments but tried anyway. Seems my 14 day trial was condensed into 14 seconds.

Has anyone been successful at arousing the developer?

I downloaded it twice, once yesterday and once, after trashing the first download, today. Both times was told my 14 days were up and the program was locked. I find it difficult to evaluate something I can't open.

Well the concept is great but the script is dead slow. Almost unusable.
