UpCocoa is a simple menubar item to display your current uptime. Information is extracted directly from the kernel for speedy operation. There is also support for sending your uptime to The Uptimes Project (http://uptimes.hostingwired.com/).

Seems to work well except for all these messages in the console:
2004-04-08 10:50:50.898 UpCocoa[391] *** NSTimer discarding exception 'NSRangeException' (reason '*** -[NSCFString substringWithRange:]: Range or index out of bounds') that raised during firing of timer with target 145c90 and selector 'doUpdate:'
