A very nice application that I am using to maintain my freeware project. However, freeware developers might not be able to spend 25$ on this. A couple bugs but nothing too serious. Is a windows version planned?

A Win32 version is indeed being seriously considered. There are still a number of cross-platform issues that needs to be addressed before the Win32 version becomes possible. As for your comments regarding bugs, make sure to report them ASAP.

Nice little app, a bit on the slow side, but has all the features that I'd (as a fledgling developer) want. I like the interface, but was a bit confused at first by the lack of controls for creating a new project/task/feature/bug. Sure, there's both the menu and the context-menu for those tasks, but not having something in the UI itself isn't very intuitive.

Also, I put a fair bit of effort into creating my first project, complete with a few tasks, bugs, and features. There is no "save" button when editing a project, so went to close the window, expecting the typical "Do you wish to save..." type of dialog. To my dismay, the window simply closed, and the work was lost.

To Nathan:

Thank you for your interest in SimplyProjects. Try downloading the latest version (1.2.0) as it has a number of performance improvements and bug fixes.

To answer your question regarding the lack of a Save button on the Project Entry screen, you can still save the changes made to your project by:
- choosing Save Changes from the File menu, or
- choosing Save Changes from the contextual menu.

You can also activate the AutoSave feature by choosing Preferences from the Setup menu. On the Database panel of the Preferences menu, click on the checkbox labeled 'always save changes'.

Hope this helps!
