What is FontThing for Mac

FontThing lets you preview and install fonts with ease. Double-click a font in any location to preview, install, or temporarily activate. Allows you to use fonts in documents that are not installed in your fonts folder. Create PDF font catalogs with drag and drop ease.

What's new in FontThing

Version 1.4.7:
  • Added more preview font size options. Added option to set font name text size. Added preference to add a larger margin for printing.

i really like the software is just what i needed, a simple preview to all my fonts, installed, not installed, whatever, except... it crashes a lot while i'm using it, is it because i'm not registered? i have no problem registering but not if it's going to keep crashing

yeah, command-Q or select Quit from the menu. works here. something wrong at *your* end if it does not work for you.

Nice start for a font preview app; definitely has the most promise I've seen since the OS 9 gem Font Gander. Still could use some more polish though.
