SpeedX 1.2 simply allows you to run either fast integer or typical instructions to measure the performance of your processor. The program would be much more useful if it included AltiVec support, which is planned in future versions.

Currently, the program is useful for about two minutes of fun and enjoyment. XBench is certainly more thorough. Perhaps future versions will include a greater feature set and test options.
