Downloaded it, no problem. Read the Readme, no problem. Read the Manual, problem: It is essential for me to change the time format of my computer to use this software? No, sorry. Let me know when this is fixed, and I may go farther than the manual. /Cap

COMPLETE CRAP!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT BUY!!!!! LEAVE NOW!!!!!!! Wow! For a piece of software that has such a simple task, this could not have failed more miserably. I would have won an item for $130 that I am going to have to pay now, or wait until another great deal comes along. What a rip off. If you buy this product you are a fool (like me). Let me be clear, this was not a mistake on my part. I read the entire manual before using the software, followed every direction, checked and re-checked the setup, made test bids and it failed. All it had to do was make the bid. Good grief!

I couldn't disagree more with the previous poster. BUT...his comments were apparently about version 1.93. EBay changed the way bids could be submitted and it did take almost two weeks for the Maxi Bidder developers to figure out the change and fix the software. But they DID fix it, and released a new version 1.94 which works fine. As for the comments about their attitude, I was a frequent reader and participate in their support message boards and saw none of the attitude the previous poster alluded to. I did see the developers work with numerous people on beta testing to figure out the fix, and they did fix it. I think Maxi Bidder is well worth the shareware fee. It's certainly made bidding easier for me (and I am a VERY frequent bidder).

This application has a terribly-constructed GUI and the functionality is unreliable. The software developer actually forces users to jump through hoops to work around their inability to fix bugs (Like changing the bidding engine, etc.). For the last two weeks, the software has been completely non-functional because eBay changed their system and the developer has been unable to provide a fix (in the auction world, a day can be like a month if you miss that auction you want). Not to mention their arrogance in their support forums ("We'll fix it when we're good and ready..."). Take some advice from someone who actually bought this piece of crap . . . don't buy it. Use SilentSniper, AuctionSniper, or any of the online snipe tools.
