I would kill to get this back. Not only would I kill, I would pay. Not only would I pay, I'd be happy to pay.

Please resume development, or for the love all that is Macintosh, release the code.

This the way it should have been but "progress" stood in the way and now we have Leopard, and SnowLeopard and soon Lion. I wonder when GORILLA will come through! http://www.pixture.com/software/mac.php

I'll add my plea for a Leopard version in the new year. Just got a new iMac and this CM was an essential part of my computing existence.

FinderIconCM overmatches all other similar apps!
It's too needful to let it die!
To the author: I offer you a copy of Leopard if you'll release a UB version for it.

I can't say enough good about this icon utility.
Developers are STILL releasing apps that attempt to do what FinderIconCM did perfectly four years go, with less than 1 MB, and for FREE!

• Want to badge your folders with their application icons?
• Want to copy and paste icons without having to open "Get Info" windows?
• Want to access your icon stock and apply your choice of icons instantly?

Do all these things as fast as you can right-click, using this brilliant Contextual Menu.

Unfortunately for us Mac users, it seems this developer has been busy with other things, so no Leopard support at this point.

Too useful to let it die!
To the developer:
Let us pay, if you want, but release a Universal version.

Indeed it doesn't work with Intel Macs, it says it's installed but when you restart the commands are not there.

Has long been essential to me, almost as much as quite every piece of software from Hide Itoh/ Pixture Studio.
Wonderful, awesome. Many thanks indeed!

Joypebble had trouble on 14 Dec 2007
I love this app but am experiencing a problem when I assign a custom icon to a mounted exterior drive on my Mac OSx 10.4.11 desktop.

The icon pastes fine and stay there until the drive is accessed by a clone program. (SuperDuper!) After being accessed, the custom icon disappears and the generic hard drive icon returns. (The custom name does not change, thankfully.)

Any ideas about why this happens and how to correct it?

Many thanks

JP

Of course, I had no business trying to install this in the first place, since it doesn't work on intel, but once I did, my font caches were immediately corrupted.
