Sneak A Peek is an AppleScript that makes those hidden files/folders visible and vice-versa.
What's new in Sneak A Peek
Version 1.1:
Fixed an issue where, in rare circumstances, Sneak
A Peak would choke if the com.apple.finder didn't have a plist entry for hiding/showing files. Fixed an issue where sometimes the Finder wouldn't not come to the forefront without clicking on its dock icon.
Very simple and useful application.
Just click on Sneak a Peak and all invisible items will be visible (all windows), click it again and all that same items will be invisible again.
That's all.
Appears to work in setting file visibility, but it crashes the Finder. The developer choose, unwisely, to make the script read only, so I can't open it up and try to fix the problem.
'tis the problem of closed-source software, there are more bugs, and they can't be fixed.
Didn't do anything the first time I ran it, but the second time the hidden files appeared. Awesome. Saves me from getting another application just to see my hidden files/folders.
