I have happily used DVD2OneX for years. But suddenly it's become a bit stupid. For instance, I tried to make a full copy of an unprotected DVD of my son's birth, but DVD2OneX simply could not figure out that first it had to copy the original DVD before burning it to a blank DVD+R because my MacBook has only one optical drive. In the past, DVD2OneX understood that when using any kind of computer with only one optical drive, the first order of business is to COPY the source DVD to a scratch folder on the computer's hard drive, and only then could it be processed for burning onto a DVD.
Anyway, since DVD2OneX can't seem to handle a simple DVD copy with only 1 optical drive, I had to quit using that and instead use DVDRemaster, which handled the exact same job quickly and without complaint.
I hope DVD2OneX's developers will bring back the ability to make an exact copy of a DVD with only 1 optical drive.
