Pianist Envy is an amazing little program. I never knew QuickTime had all of these great instruments built in. And now I can just screw around with my own little mini-orchestra all day!

I hope that this gadget isn't just bypassing QuickTime Pro registration to give people access to a built-in feature that Apple charges $30 for...

This looked interesting. I tried it out, decided the $5 price was right and decided to buy it. What stopped me? Why does a $5 shareware product require my phone number in order to process my order? My email address, OK. I can even understand wanting my snail mail address. But my phone number? I don't give out my phone number to any online entity. Drop that requirement and you've got a sale. Keep it and I'll spend my money elsewhere.

Phone numbers are often required for credit card processing, not for the company making the sale.

Anyone who does not understand the double-entendre of this app's title is likely under the age of ten. "Penis envy - An aspect of Sigmund Freud's developmental theory. Freud believed that during development girls had to switch from having the mother as the love object to having the father as the love object and also switch from the clitoris to the vagina as the main genital zone. At about the age of four, Freud believed that girls first discovered they lacked a penis. The girl will blame her mother for the lack of a penis and the consequent hurt to her own self-esteem. This causes the girl to give up clitoral sexuality, and turn to the father as love object. This aspect of Freud's theory has received a great deal of criticism, particularly from feminist psychoanalysts." http://www.psybox.com/web_dictionary/Penisenvy.htm

This program deserves 10 stars just for the name...if you don't get it, it's probably good. ;)
