I can not understand, why the developer abandons this software. It would be about time to (a) have an universal app and (b) have a corresponding iPad/iPhone app.

But since 2 years: nothing

Sad story.

I suggest you avoid like the plague anything from this SW Firm
I purchased Safe Place paid by PayPal but cannot get the required info to
register it. TEN emails to sales and tech help ALL ignored
So; wasted my money. Best avoided I suggest

The application was nice in 2008 but it appears the developer has abandoned it. Very buggy under Snow Leopard.

I have been using this software for some years now and it functions very well for me - except for a recent problem. Since upgrading to Leopard, I cannot print files from SP on my iMac G5. It starts like it is going to, printer window comes up but nothing happens after sending off the file to print. Also cannot print a pdf.
I have emailed the developer several times over the last few months and he does not reply, so this is discouraging in regards to support.
I don't know how much this is a problem for others.

I registered this app, but use Tiger so have not experienced the leopard issue.

In my emails with the author, back in Dec 2007, he indicated he was in process of rewriting it for newer Mac OS, & for greater capabilities, and needed to completely redo the underlying data structure. So might be a rather large project.

I second the iPhone/touch request. I'd love to see a client w/ syncing for that platform.

Unfortunately I'm still waiting on a universal binary version of 4D (the database engine used by Safe Place). I have a beta now and am testing it. Hopefully they'll release it soon.

As a registered owner of Safe Place, since March 2005, I've just got to say that this is a one of the most useful apps that I use. I must bring it up 3 or 4 times a day, and it is super fast, even with my 200+ entires. I love how configurable it is. I generally go with free applications, but after trying out Safe Place, I decided to fork over the super reasonable price of $10. You can even use it from more than one computer on a network. The single encrypted data file is easy to back up. If you need to restore, just move the single data file to the right place, and you've got your backed up data.

I hope that someday we'll have this app available on our iPhone.

I just can't say anything bad about Safe Place. Good and friendly support if you ever need it.

FIVE STARS! BRAVO!
