Game where you rebound enemy fire.

Overview

Note: Radical Rebound is no longer under development, and it is no longer available for sale.

Radical Rebound is a revolutionary shoot' em up like game. To destroy enemies you must rebound their shots against them with a shield in front of your ship, while avoiding getting hit. A really new and fun experience.

A surprisingly fun action game! The fact that you can't shoot and certain ships kill you in one hit makes the game very strategic. BTW, contrast to what the price says, this game is free.

Got word since it was still hanging about on my Watch List. Thought i'd give this new version a try. It has some things going for it. It's upbeat. It's colorful. Aspects of the graphics look good. The music is very... arcade-ish and well done. The down side. Playability, or at least enjoyable playability is horrid. The graphic elements look like they belong in 4 or 5 different games. The screen is always too cluttered with objects far too big for the space they're in. Success depends more on dumb luck than skill. Some power-ups seem designed to kill one off quicker. Feels like something in it's early stages which needs a great deal of fine tuning and play testing. Developer should take some lessons from Ambrosia. Time to axe this from my Watch-List.

Hmmm. Too repetitive and annoying for adults. Too rapid-fire and loosely controlled for kids, and likely to generally annoy those in between.

A game that's not afraid to make fun of itself, and makes fun of itself well. Full of inside jokes, funny dialogue, and hilarious mario brothers-like-rescue-the-princess archetypes, this game shows strongly even between the action. In fact, it's the most entertaining part. One of the best lines in the unregistered version is when a character states "I'd rather be working for Ambrosia" or something around those lines. It temps me to register just to see all the other one liners. My biggest request, however, would be to find something to replace the scrolling planets. Its a little nauseating.

This is in fact a rather entertaining and original take on the old Asteroids genre of games. It's lots of fun, and the price is right.

One of the most original concepts ever made into a game. It's like Pong and asteroids combined. There are also tons of cool powerups and it has an entertaining plot. A little addictive, a little hypnotic and a lot of fun!

It's nice to have so much control (ship size, speed, shield size) and the powerups make the gameplay much more interesting. The game is simple but fun, and the concept of reflecting shots instead of shooting them is unique. Nice game! Sound could use some work, but the graphics and music are nice!
