I love spy but I wish they worked on it a little more. I would like to have the ability to change the sound. Its very loud and I can't do anything about it because I can't open the contents.
Hope to see an update

While no longer crashing I consistantly see this error in the log when I notice the screenshot image failing to load:

"Exception in HTTPEndpoint_ProcessStaticImage"

no idea what that means other than the screenshot doesn't end up being transmitted.

Instead of crashing on the 2nd or 3rd visit like it used to, now it just seems to hang while loading the image although the html "skin" loads fine.

Quiting and restarting SpyX fixes it for a bit so there's still a bug there somewhere.

No it was not dead, just in an extremely long alpha test.

They actually released the beta yesterday morning.

Holy poop. I thought this was dead.

I hope this fixes the random post-visit crashing bug.

Cool program I didn't always like it opened though so I made a duplicate copy and used the one copy to configure the settings and the other I made invisible with Drop Script Background
http://macupdate.com/info.php/id/7922
so now I don't have to have the icon showing all the time use activity monitor to quit

Yes it does tend to crash when the first call is made to get the screen image. If you relaunch it after that everything is ok again, until it's quit and relaunched or the Mac is rebooted. Then, the initial call will crash it once again.

Unfortunately it appears as though development has ceased on this great, fun app.

It's great but it tends to crash occasionally under 10.3.2 for some reason. I'm still trying to figure out what's causing it.
