There's a proliferation of tools available for working with your iPod. Wouldn't it be great if they all started automatically when you connected your iPod to your Mac? Well now they can. Note that this is actually donationware versus shareware. (I do, however, agree that it should be included with the full version of iPod It.) Although the $5 -- which I did spend -- was well spent.
The developer is very responsive to emails, and is constantly tweaking both this and iPodIt as OS upgrades come sailing through.
Thus, I've had nothing but solid performance from both iPod Launcher and iPod It on my 3G iPod. A *far* cry from the junk (and $30 wasted) on PocketMac iPod that crashed my system beyond recognition.
For Entourage users, there's nothing better than this at the present.
