Look guys, we all have to face it. Nice card in its time, but now hopelessly outdated. Time to go 24-bit + 96khz anyway!

I must be lucky enough to have a V2 chip on my card... no distortion here.

Core audio always shows RED in Process Viewer, but the card seems to work anyway. This all started after OSX 10.4.

I have found that some VST plugins/instruments make some strange sound glitches.. usually the ones that are deemed "incompatible but usable" with Logic Express's AU Manager.

Anyone else found issues running 2 Battery 1 instruments at once? AudioWerk related or not?

It sucks!
It does not do the job as it must do.
Dutch servicecentre mailed me that the AW8
was made for OS9 and not for OSX.

So why making a driver for OSX?
Sound is good when I start my audio-application but after a short while
it drops out....

Great features but cannot get to work without clipping of the sound. I also have V1chip. New working update needed......

cannot get decent sound from the card with this update - the sound keeps dropping out. Is there going to be a proper fix for this problem that works with all versions of the card. I crashes in some applications too....

The driver causes very distorted sounds.

Driver does not work.
Major clipping occurs.
Emagic has said: well, it looks like it is - from the technical point of view - not possible to make that release version of the Audiowerk compatible to OS X.

Bye, Bye Card.
Bye, Bye Emagic.

I have also chased emagic for drivers for this card. This driver seems to be a hap-hazard affair. They have also notified me that they do not have the knowledge needed to fix the V1 chip problem.

RUBBISH: After chasing emagic for nearly a year, they have released this update that doesn't work with cards with the V1 chip (which is must of them). There is no real support for this card any more!!!!!!
