Babelizer is a toy that humorously exposes the inadequacy of machine translation. You type in a phrase, choose a language, and the Babelizer uses the Altavista translation Web site to translate between English and your chosen language until the result no longer mutates.

Awesome tool!

I know I can go to AltaVista to get the same thing, but this looks better, has no banner ads, and is free..which is great for a student like myself.

Isn't this just a frontend for the web site?

Not sure why you need a separate app...

Woah... you're write, Korean's awful! In fact, for maximum confusion, type in 'I think that the Korean language does not consist of much interest'. Ouch...

Funny!!!! put "the bannana ate the purple slug while trying on some hats" and korean translation and you end up with "As the what kind of type questionable matter shedding of blood

that's if you leave it on 12 iterations in the preferences. try setting it to 100 and see what happens...
