ZXPT  We use the Tier 0 version of ScanTango for our Strobe XP100 scanners. ( I also have VueScan and a flatbed but use it just for thick material like books, otherwise why bother...) Even with this cheep second hand manual feed scanner ScanTango simply rocks! It's easy to set resolution presets, scan, rearrange the order, erase, crop and redact pages. The app is also a great tool for editing existing PDF docs using the same built-in features. My wife doesn't like cumbersome scanning apps but loves this one because it's a very uncomplicated and gets the job done fast without frustration.

ZXPT  Essential utility for any spotlight user. Very elegant design provides detailed control of any attached volume. Over time indexes simply flatten out and become inefficient, Spotless enables me to keep Spotlight at maximum performance and only applicable where needed. I just rebuild my main drive once again and the index directory size shrunk from 275 to 128MB.

ZXPT  Very nice interface and the window width can set to narrow (unlike iTunes) or stretchable across the horizontal size of the screen if desired. This allows for exact positioning (unlike iTunes in my 2 hours recordings. With the available hotkey functions it is much more userfriendly than any menubar iTunes control I tried.
