ZEALOT6  I never dawned on me how much Imovie had changed since I had Ilife 06. I have been trying to edit a movie I made of my family from this summer and it has been such a frustrating experience. For one thing, the removal of the multitrack and timeline just threw me. It also seems like I can't easily cut scenes like before. I am going to have to use something else abit more intuitive than this.

****.

ZEALOT6  Great browser. I felt compelled to write this, because in the past six months I have been literally THROUGH it with every Mac browser under the sun. I grew restless with Safari because it was hogging up my computer all the time, so I was trying to see which would be suitable for my needs. I tried everything from Firefox to Flock. Camino was very fast, however even in the new release it seems to hang on flash animations on my computer. Firefox...was...Firefox. And everything in between was just mediocre. Now, I guess it didn't make much sense to go through the gamut when I already had Safari. Just that Safari is somewhat jealous and doesnt like to share the CPU while it's doing it's thing, with OTHER applications. I am always doing more than one thing so it is essential I be able to do a myriad of things while online.

However, after all these months of subterfuge and driving myself insane, I am right back at Safari 3.1.1. and have settled on it. What sets it apart from the others for me is the keychain password store and overall stability. It was the most stable for me out of the ones I tried, actually. And it doesn't hang on those animations...at this point it is obvious I just HATE that! Now I can't say it feels the fastest, for me personally anyway. However, I have learned through all this that no web browser fits my definition of *perfect.* Each browser brings something to the table that sets it apart, although they essentially do the same thing. I found it just simply boils down to what you can and can't live with in a browser.

ZEALOT6  You know, I concur with everyone about this new and "improved" update. I have been using GarageSale pre-4.0 quite happily for at least several months. I downloaded the 4.0 trial out of curiosity and to possibly justify the cost. I was initially excited. However, the program was either VERY slow or just didn't operate at all. It takes forever to load the eBay preview and even upload auction pics to GarageSale servers. My previous version of this software has a slight lagtime, but it was eons more pronounced with this upgrade.

After a few days, I simply gave up, took it off my computer, and re-downloaded the older version which is back to working the way I remembered it to. I simply can't recommend shelling out money for the upgrade, especially since the older free version is more responsive and appears to work just fine.

F451  Being an existing user I too found it slow until I upgraded. Maybe it is all the software registration constraints that are hindering the speed? I don't know.
